Patina

Patina:

Letters are stroke sanded and returns are bead-blasted before being coated with a two-part, hardened acrylic polyurethane coating. All Gemini paint booths utilize a filtered air, paoitive pressure system to minimize particulate in the finish. All Gemini ovens are walk-in (to reduce handling of letters while wet), controlled temperature ovens to ensure accurate temperature for proper curing. Gemini's patina is created using traditional methods using multiple application of heat and chemical treatments to oxidized bronze letters. The bronze utilized is lead free bronze. The green and gold hues that develop on the letter's surface will vary from letter to letter; exhibiting a non-uniform weathered appearance.
Baked Enamel

Baked Enamel:

Oxidized

Oxidized:

Letters are stroke sanded and returns are bead-blasted before being coated with a two-part, hardened acrylic polyurethane coating. All Gemini paint booths utilize a filtered air, positive pressure system to minimize particulate in the finish. All Gemini ovens are walk-in (to reduce handling of letters while wet), controlled temperature ovens to ensure accurate temperature for proper curing. Choose from 38 standard colors, any metallic automobile color, or your own custom color. Specify either matte or gloss. US10B finish. Lead free bronze is used for all oxidized letters. Letter faces are stroke sanded, with bead blasted returns. Before being oven baked with a tow part hardened acrylic polyurethane clear coat, letters are chemically treated to accelerate the oxidization process.
Medium Bronze Anodized

Anodized:

Polished

Polished:

Gemini anodizes in large capacity tanks to asure uniformity of colorization for letters in your order. Anodizing dyes available include medium bronze, dark bronze, gold, black, or clear; with either polished or stroke sanded faces. Side returns are bead blasted. This electrochemical process increases hardness and durability of aluminum-which makes anodized letters an excellent choice for exterior applications that would normally be subject to UV, corrosion, or other harsh environments. US9 Finish. Letter faces are stroke sanded and returns are hand sanded before being polished by craftsmen with ears of polishing experience. All letters are cleaned to remove all traces of oxidation, before being treated with two part clear acrylic polyurethane. Gemini paint booths utilize a filtered air positive pressure system to minimize particulate in the finish. Finally, the letters are baked in controlled temperature ovens to assure proper curing.
